Your Fave Songs Can Draw Series

Studying semiotics and signage, I developed this concept of allowing music to draw, or create an image, on a piece of paper. Unlike the visualization of music, which involves an artist listening to music and drawing based on their inspiration, I wanted to remove my hand as an artist and allow the vibrations of the speaker move the charcoal placed on the paper, thus creating an image. In regards to semiotics, the finished drawing becomes the signifier of the song, or the signified, that created the vibrations. The drawings would be presented with the name of the song, and potentially one could create a "mixtape" of these drawings in an album.
